July 19, 2010 Hillsborough Homeowners Association Board Meeting Minutes:
Board Members attending: Steve Kudlacek, Darren Will, Debbie Roitstein, Kim Bond, and Sally Keller.
Treasurer's Report:
- Balance as of July 12, 2010, $71094.81
Covenant issues:
- Board members will schedule drive through of the neighborhood to locate houses in disrepair before fall. Letters will be sent to the homeowners to address any issues on homes.
- Discussed specific homes in need of attention
Signal 88:
- Bill for June 8 - July 12 $582.00 at a cost of $8 per tour.
- Discussed changing tour schedule and possibly eliminating some of the tours. Decided to have 2 tours through the neighborhood every day of the week. Steve to contact Julie to change schedule.
LED lighting for the entrances:
- Compare lights on North and South side of Hillsbourough entrance.
- LED lights use only 10% of the power as the existing lighting.
- Total to replace lights on all entrances approximately $24,000. Discussed possibility of changing one entrance per year for the next 7 years.
- In 2009 spend $1944 for lighting maintenance and replacement bulbs. To date in 2010 $336.
Other topics discussed:
- Darren to check on changing port-a-potty in park to a handicapped port-a-potty.
- The tent has mold on it and will seek methods to clean it.
- Darren to follow up on trailer registration and title with Brad.
- Next association newsletter going out in September.
- Will invite Chris Karzon to September meeting.
- Will invite Mr. Hutching, potential new board member to September meeting.
